Lok Sabha 2014 polls won’t be a two-horse race: Omar

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said it is "misplaced arrogance" on the part of political leaders who suggest that the next general election in the country would be a "two-horse race".

"There is a fine line between talk to boost cadre moral and misplaced arrogance. To suggest that next election is 2 (two) horse race is the la(t)ter," Omar wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.com.

The Chief Minister was apparently referring to the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls in the country which many see as a direct fight between ruling Congress and opposition BJP. Omar also questioned the accuracy of polls conducted through social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

"Every time I see twitter & FB polls, I'm reminded of @ImranKhanPTI. If social media users elected leaders, he (Imran Khan) would have been leading Pakistan," he posted.
