Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has finally walked the talk. On Thursday, his government reportedly asked the anti-corruption bureau to file an FIR against former Congress CM Sheila Dikshit for her alleged role in a scam related to the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

This particular case refers to Dikshit's alleged involvement in the purchase of imported street-lights at an inflated price. The anti-corruption bureau has been asked to probe her involvement, after the scam came to light in investigations carried out by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), and the Shunglu Committee, which was constituted to investigate the event.
According to an NDTV report, the government's auditor found that lights were bought after Dikshit's intervention at a price that ranged from Rs. 25,000 to 32,000 each - "far higher than the fair price computed".
On Tuesday, the AAP government recommended to President Pranab Mukherjee to issue an advisory to former chief minister Sheila Dikshit based on a Lokayukta order for alleged wrongdoings in grant of provisional regularisation certificates to unauthorised colonies.
"We endorsed the Lokayukta order. We have recommended that guilty should be punished as per the Lokayukta recommendation," PWD Minister Manish Sisodia had said.
