The Aam Aadmi Party cannot be faulted for all the mistakes and errors that are being attributed to them. They were given the mantle via a fractured verdict.
Besides this, the Delhi state government has had no control over the Delhi Police for many years. Now it has become of high import that the Delhi government put up by the people be given total control over the Delhi Police to prevent large-scale thuggery. The Delhi Police has become a state within a state, drunk with power and practically no control within sight. Instead of diligent policing, these Delhi Police thugs have become 'haftha' partakers, can we call them gangster squads in khaki? Whither citizen monies paid out as salaries to these monsters?

The police in most states are nothing but thugs, can we call them glorified state sponsored thugs in khaki? Their main intention is to cause hurt to the 'common man' instead of protecting her/him, they fail to realize that they are bounden to the 'common man' who is their paymaster. The police has failed us miserably, they have failed to adopt new technologies to fight and solve crimes. Instead of accepting the 'common man' as their master, the police is intent to cause him misery and injury. The police these days discourage aggrieved parties from filing FIRs, they plain refuse to cooperate and never bother to listen. They do not have a help-desk to assist the public, they are interested in shady activities and help miscreants instead.
