Nagpur: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will conduct meetings with state party workers at various levels in Wardha's Sewagram when he arrives here on a day's visit Friday, a party official said here.
Gandhi will address a daylong meeting of the Congress's district and panchayat committee members as well as municipal councils and corporations.
He is scheduled to address the gathering on various issues, including the Congress manifesto.
Congress general secretary in-charge of the state Mohan Prakash and state Congress chief Manikrao Thakre will be present on the occasion, the official said.
Situated around 75 km from here, Sewagram houses the famous Sewagram Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi spent his time in the 1930s and 1940s.
