New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day Wednesday in the post-lunch session after a statement by Defence Minister AK Antony on the now cancelled deal with AgustaWestland for purchase of 12 VVIP helicopters.
After Antony made his statement, opposition members sought to ask clarifications from the minister causing din in the house.

Some members also spoke in favour of continuing caste-based reservations.
As the din continued, Deputy chairman PJ Kurien adjourned the house for the day.
