Nothing can be ruled out: Yogendra Yadav on Kejriwal quitting

New Delhi: With the BJP and Congress preventing tabling of the Jan Lokpal bill in the Assembly today and intense speculation over Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's possible resignation, AAP today said "nothing can be ruled out" in the present situation.

"As of now situation is not clear. Nothing is being ruled out. Arvind (Kejriwal) has clarified everything and the party's position. The proceedings are going on and it is not clear which way we are headed", said senior AAP leader Yogendra Yadav.

AAP government was today prevented from tabling the Jan Lokpla Bill in the assembly amid stiff opposition from both Congress and BJP.

Claiming that there is a collusion between the two parties, Yadav said, "As we expected, Congress and BJP have joined hands to ensure that AAP does not fulfill its promises".

When asked why Kejriwal hasn't resigned despite the bill being not tabled as per his earlier statements in the media, Yadav said, "Well, Business of the government has to go on...He is conducting rest of the legislative process."

Yadav also indicated that a final decision in this regard may be taken at a party forum.

"We are expecting a meeting in the party headquater after the assembly following which the next course of action would follow," said Yadav.
